ThinkCyber have scooped yet another award. Winners of techUK’s Cyber Innovator of the year 2021. An award that recognises the latest leading edge capabilities, selected from a range of innovative SMEs across the UK cyber eco-system.

In summing up, judge Gerry Cantwell from sponsors UKCloudX said, “this reflects the judges’ view that the winners are innovative and have the potential to be truly impactful and transformative within their market”.

The judges were looking for those innovations which rise to the challenge of keeping the nation safe. In particular, tools enabling citizens work/life online throughout the pandemic and beyond. Something we are uniquely positioned to do with Redflags™, delivering real-time, in-context security interventions directly on devices.

In delivering his winning pitch CEO Tim Ward noted “During the pandemic working from home exposed new threats, and more importantly a new work context. Traditional awareness and training has been too slow to adapt. In comparison, Redflags™ allowed us to push new, engaging and relevant guidance straight out to staff to help them in their new threat context. In this new world of hybrid working, the ability to rapidly adapt as the risk landscape changes will be critical.

[At ThinkCyber] We fully intend to transform the world of security awareness with our real-time approach. We believe that awareness needs to be “built in” to our work, but also that security culture is about more than awareness, more than training, it’s about changing behaviours – what we need are Redflags from think cyber security!”
